Meet Alissa—our fearless leader and lifelong athlete! From her early days in AYSO to playing high school soccer in Armada and competing at the Division One level at Oakland University, sports have always been a huge part of her life. Now, as the lead athletic trainer for Armada Schools and a mom of two energetic boys, Alissa is dedicated to bringing soccer back to her hometown. As AYSO Region 8028’s Regional Commissioner, she’s excited to create a program where kids can build confidence, make memories, and have fun on the field. She can’t wait to see Armada’s soccer community grow!

Meet Anna-Shea—a lifelong soccer player, community builder, and proud Armada mom! Growing up, she played soccer alongside her sister, Alissa Gallagher, and now she’s excited to help revive the same program that shaped her childhood. With a background in athletics, business development, and non-profit management, Anna-Shea brings a well-rounded perspective to supporting the mission and growth of AYSO Region 8028. As a mother of two young kids, she’s passionate about giving back, creating opportunities for local families, and inspiring the next generation of players to love the game as much as she does!

 Shannon Finkbeiner AYSO 8028 Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate (CVPA)
Meet Shannon—an Armada soccer alum, middle school science teacher, and all-around champion for kids! Having played in both AYSO and Armada High School’s soccer programs, Shannon knows firsthand the positive impact sports can have. With a background in Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University and advanced degrees in Education, she’s the perfect fit to serve as AYSO Region 8028’s Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate (CVPA). She’ll ensure that all players are in a safe, welcoming environment by overseeing volunteer registration, screening, and Safe Haven™ compliance. Shannon is passionate about making sure every child feels supported and can grow through the joy of soccer!
